Be Happy /21: That Radiant Feeling

Hey guys! So remember when I first shared with you my plans on living a healthier life? Well, I’ve been keeping up with those promises I made to myself and I’ve been feeling really awesome. I’ve changed my diet, cut back on coffee, quit cigarettes and have been mindful of the way I eat. It feels great to wake up feeling energized and rested because I sure wasn’t feeling that way for a long time. It’s amazing what a little lifestyle change can do for you that I’m asking myself now why I didn’t do it any sooner.

You’re probably wondering what this has to do with being happy. After all, this is a Be Happy post. Well, in the last few weeks I’ve learned that taking care of yourself is key to being able to do your work efficiently. For a while I ate junk and was running on caffeine all day. That made me feel really sluggish and tired. I’d end up sitting on my computer at home for hours without even realizing it and before I knew it, I was on my butt for at least half of my day. And sure I feel like I’ve accomplished more tasks but what did to my body was terrible. So from now on, I’m going to make time to make myself breakfast and lunch, to eat properly and never skip meals anymore. As the Cheerios Bee would say, “Be Happy, Be Healthy” !
